A Field Trip and a Haunted Tour

Hey there! How are yall? Its currently 7AM and I’m on a bus on my way to spend the day in a bigger hospital.

We’re going to be observing a cath lab.

A catheterization laboratory or cath lab is an examination room in a hospital or clinic with diagnostic imaging equipment used to support the catheterization procedure. A catheter is inserted into a large artery, and various wires and devices can be inserted through the body via the catheter which is inside the artery. The artery most used is the femoral artery.

Needless to say, I’m super excited!

Anywho, I hope yall have had a great week so far. I went on a haunted walking tour of the San Antonio Riverwalk last night. But of course before the 9 PM start time, the group needed food and margaritas!

Then we found our tour guide

He told us a lot of history of San Antonio and the Alamo. He also pointed out some architecture like how the gargoyles on top of this building were used in ghostbusters for the gargoyles on the New York library.

We were also issued some ghost hunting equipment in the form of dousing rods, laser thermometers and EMP detectors.  I also downloaded a ghost detector app on my phone which correlated three times with the EMP detectors.  It definitely quit after that though.

Other than that, it was just a bunch of stories about murders and hangings.

After visiting the cath lab today, I’m meeting up with the runners group to join a half marathon training group! I’ll let yall know how it goes later.  🙂

Have a great day!!!
