Starting July 24th this chica and I will be going tricep to tricep for 6 weeks in an effort to complete the most consecutive push ups.  It’s just a little friendly competition to increase both of our upper body and core strength.  Most runners tend to ignore their upper body strength but it’s actually very important for your running.  Think about it.  How many of you move your arms when you run, especially at the finish?  Making sure your upper body is strong will help you run more efficiently and not burn so much energy supporting and moving your torso.  Anywho, here’s the deal:

  • 6 weeks following the 100 Pushups Plan
  • pushup workouts will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • post a video of each exhaustion test (Sunday on weeks 0, 2, 4, 6)
  • Winner shall be publicly declared The Push up Queen
