Friday night was the Maintenance Professional of the Year banquet for Davis Monthan. It was my first MPOY banquet and it was pretty good. I think that was because of the company though. There were a lot of speeches and not much mingling so that made it feel a little slow. However the venue and food were good and my squadron took home a few of the awards.
Afterwards I DDed for friends and we all went to Old Chicago. There was a very hilarious moment in the car when Deana rapped along with Salt n Peppa’s Shoop. I’m telling you it was probably the highlight of the night for me. We were at Old Chicago pretty late so Chris and Mike could finish their mini tours of Irish beer but all in all it was a great night.
